I use GitHub Pages and move it to Cloudflare Pages.
Operating method is this.
The site is distributed in the Direct Upload mode of Cloudflare Pages. Text and settings data is stored in D1.
The image is placed in R2. OAuth secret values are kept in Cloudflare Worker Secret. Admin logins work independently of whether the repository is public or private.
Rescue is as follows.
- Static page: Cloudflare Pages
- Database of D1
- Filed to:R2
- Authority: Worker Secret
With this combination, you don’t need to operate the servers separately. Each service has its own role, and the Worker connects each other. GitHub Pages can only serve static files so that external services have to be combined in order to add features such as database or image storage. Cloudflare handles all of this in one ecosystem.
And all this is free.
It is a pity that I know this good thing right now.If I knew it before, I would have run the site much more comfortably.
